Frequently asked
questions.
How we reply, where we work, how we quote, and what each service delivers. If your question is not answered here, ask us directly.
How quickly do you reply?
We reply to every enquiry within five working days, by email unless you ask us to call. If we need more information before we can answer properly, we say so in that first reply rather than leaving you waiting.
Where do you work?
We are based in London and work on projects across the United Kingdom. Design, coordination and reporting are carried out from the office, and the amount of site attendance a project needs is agreed in the scope before work begins.
How do you charge?
Every project is quoted in an itemised written proposal setting out the deliverables, exclusions, fees and programme. The scope is agreed in writing before work starts, so there are no open-ended fees. Anything outside the agreed scope is quoted before it begins.
What do you need to quote?
The project location, the building use, the stage the project has reached, and any drawings, surveys or existing services records you hold. If you are not sure what is relevant, send what you have and tell us what you need resolved — we will confirm what else is required before quoting.
How are revisions handled?
Review points are set out in the proposal so you can comment before final issue. Revisions within the agreed scope are issued as tracked revisions. Changes that alter the scope are quoted before the work starts.
What file formats do you deliver?
Drawings are issued as DWG, DXF and PDF, with Revit (RVT) models and IFC exports where the project runs in BIM, and Navisworks (NWD) files for clash detection where required. Reports, schedules and inspection records are issued as PDF, with DOCX and XLSX versions where you need to maintain them. Formats are agreed in the proposal.
